Weapon's Name: Superbolt
Weapon description: Normally, it is merely in the guise of a metal toothpick, however, it can expand up to the size of a full javelin (8'10") or any size in-between.  Shrunken down it merely appears to be a smooth, stainless steel pick segmented with grooves along the shaft, but when it is expanded to the size of a javelin Cleanthe's Hymn to Zeus is visible etched in Ancient Greek.

Weapon Backstory:As a child Castle fell in with the wrong crowd. He became something of a juvenile delinquent and a trouble maker. While he was initially a follower in the schemes of others - cutting school, picking fights, smoking cigarettes, he very quickly became a leader thanks to his inherent strength and charisma.

His habit of smoking never really affected his athletic performance on account of his superhuman endurance but his bad habits did and attitude did. Considering football was his only real passion, when he noticed what was happening to himself he stepped away from the bad behavior, including quitting cigarettes. Unfortunately, he had developed an oral fixation and would always find himself chewing on his nails, gum, or eating.

Then one day he found a brand new metal toothpick addressed to him. It seemed to be stainless steel but when he put it in his mouth it was like putting his tongue to a battery; it just made him feel alive and amped-up. Now, rather than smoking a cigarette or chewing gum he keeps this in his mouth, only taking it out when he has to, like during a game of football (though he has it in place when he is on the bench) or to eat.

Return to Sender - Whenever Castle wills it this weapon will return to his possession in whatever form it was previously in at the same speed he throws it at (12 tiles per turn). Can be called faster or enhanced with lightning per Supercharge ability starting at T2 Lightning Mastery.

Weapon material: Celestial Bronze

Why does this weapon match you: Castle is the son of Zeus. Though he cannot hurl lightning bolts like his father that does not mean he does not have an aptitude for throwing. He is a quarterback, after all. Furthermore, the 'Bolt was granted to him as a gift after he realized he was running his life into the ground as a juvenile delinquent and needed something to focus on to help himself quit smoking.

Item's Backstory: A gift from his father, this ring is rather mundane looking, appearing as nothing more than a simple gold ring with a lightning theme to it. In reality it's something akin to a pacemaker, as the dormant lightning within Castle presents something of a risk to him and those around him if it's not controlled.

After a series of health issues as a child that seemed to point to a congenital heart defect despite his sterling health Castle received this gift from his father, though, of course, he did not know it. He wears it on his middle finger and hasn't taken it off since the day he got it.

Item's Ability:

The Ring of Thunder is a magical item that will shrink or expand to fit Castle's finger at any time. Additionally, it can be called back to him if they are ever separated. For the most part it regulates Castle's health by controlling his lightning affinity to protect himself and those around him. As such, it acts as a sort of pacemaker.

Pacemaker - The prime ability of this ring is a counter crowd-control-type of effect. Any time Castle is stunned by an opponent this ring kicks in and frees him. This does not free him from channeled effects like an ongoing bind. Cannot be used to bypass self-induced stuns. Can only be used once per battle and has a 3 day cooldown once used.

Capped Abilities - The primary purpose of this ring is to restrict Castle's access to his latent potential. As such, whenever this ring is on the effective Damage of his Wind and Lightning techniques is capped at 20. This does not prevent him from access techniques that require higher tiers or from learning them, only reduces the power and potential of them.

Uncapped Abilities - When this ring is deactivated or removed it boosts the damage of Castle's elemental techniques by +20  for 5 turns. After that he burns out and for 3 turns does -10 damage with elemental techniques. After that he functions at whatever natural tier he is at or can access. During the 5 turns he cannot choose which techniques he uses and must roll a die with each number corresponding to a technique in his arsenal. He must use that technique that turn. 3 day cooldown after using uncapped abilities.

Size altering ability approved.
Damage approved.
Weight thing, approved.
Lightning magic that scales with a bolt is denied in the form that you have.
Returning to you is approved.
The Rings abillity to break a stun is once per battle and has a 3 day cooldown. This stun break has no cost. It doesn't break through roots.
The ring can't act as a power limiter using tiers as a guide, try something else if you must. I.e solid numbers.

20 is too high unless you're willing to take a 3 day cooldown, and for 3 turns after the ring wears off, you lose 10 damage potential.
