Fatal Flaw: ADHD, Lack of Empathy, Being a child of Hephaestus, Ace is quite tuned to machines though the same can't be said for living creatures making him quite oblivious to any feelings that aren't put directly in front of him.

Why does this character match the parent?: Of course he is good with machines, forges, and anything else of that nature. Like his father he shares the lack of empathy disabling him from truely understanding people's feelings though as long as he had his machines he won't need -that- much human interaction.
Why do you deserve this heritage?: I feel like I could play a good child of Hephaestus and it'd be pretty fun to RP as. I don't exactly deserve the position though if I get it I'll make the most of it that I can.
What will you do with these powers?: Being a child of the machine god my powers won't be as straigth up as summoning lightning or controlling water. (Unless Hephaestus children can get that fire power.) So I'll rely on crafting things to help me in battle, weapons, mechanical companions, and everything that fits under the board description of a machine.
What other parents would you accept? Uuuh anything that isn't full. Probably Hermes.
